Indian flavors meet Mexican tacos and the result is an absolute knockout. Saucy Chick is one of those places that stops you mid-bite and makes you say "what IS this?" — in the best possible way. We ordered four tacos and every single one was packed with bold, layered flavor. The Skirt Steak Asada taco came on a corn tortilla loaded with cheese, salsa, pickled onions, and cilantro — classic done right. The Chicken Tinga Masala took things up a notch with moms beans, mango, cotija, and cilantro on a corn tortilla — sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The Pibil Chicken on a flour tortilla with moms beans, pickled onions, and cheese was tender and rich. And the Sunrise Masala Breakfast Taco was a revelation — smashed masala potato and a desi egg made with tomato, onion, chile, and masala spice on a corn tortilla with salsa verde. Breakfast has never tasted like that before. Do yourself a favor and order a side of their salsa and chili oil. It takes everything to another level and you'll be pouring it on everything at the table. At $6.50–$7.50 per taco the value is solid for the quality and creativity you're getting. Meat is tender and very well flavored, stuff is so cute and friendly, even clients here are decent and helpful, good place for good food! They are also very proud about their chilly sauce.

Wow. Wow. Wow 🤩 Honestly I came here because I ChatGPT’d it and it did not fail. My husband and I had the tacos de tinga, lamb, steak and it was excellent! The birria nachos were great definitely a must. We tried their sweet potato fries and as a person who doesn’t like sweet potatoes there were amazing 🔥👌🏼 The frijoles puercos or Moms Beans were so good almost like creamy and paired really well with their spicy salsa macha. We also tried the esquite and it was so unique and did give me that char flavor of it being cooked on the grill which was really great! All in all food is great, Friendly service, clean establishment and we are definitely going to make this a go to spot from now on. Definitely 5/5 stars 🌟

I've visited Pasadena a few times and I think this place is going to be a staple part of every trip of me. Its so good! The perfect amount of spicy and lots of savory flavor. I did forget to mention I have cilantro soap gene, but there wasn't too much cilantro so it didn't ruin the experience. Love the Pibil Chicken Burrito. If I was local I'd be coming here all the time, and probably buying their sauce sampler, too. Also, we go to sample their ginger jamaica since they had just a little left, and it's excellent. Would absolutely be drinking that if they had enough for a full cup.

I’m so glad I ventured outside of Old Town to try this Mex/Indian fusion place. Came with a big group so got a try a lot of dishes. Every dish is a fusion of both cuisines, some a bit more Indian and some a bit more Mexican. All super tasty. Of the dishes we tried: Masala birria bowl - this may have been my fave, I think leaned more Mexican with hints of Indian spices. Def would get again Pibil Chick & Nachos - my fave of the two nachos we got. The perfect blend of both cuisines. Gets a little heavy after a while but still delicious and great to share. Jeera Chick Chaat-chos - vegetarian friendly option, tasty, solid. 1/2 Rotisserie meal - comes with two sides, succulent, flavorful chicken with plethora of sauces, and my favorite type of tortillas (think Sinaloa style) Fenugreek esquires - a fun twist on your usual street corn Mom’s beans and roasted cauliflower also were amazing. Portions are huge and come with lots of sauces and pickled things. Their chili oil was killer in the best way possible. Super friendly service. I think the owner was out cashier. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Pasadena and love food
